Hong Kong Central Library | 'Shanghai-Hong Kong Children's Reading: Cultural Heritage' Exhibition
Description
The Hong Kong Central Library and the Shanghai Library for Young People join hands to present the 'Shanghai-Hong Kong Children's Reading • Cultural Heritage' Exhibition, introducing the history and children's reading services of the two libraries and enhancing mutual understanding of library development and the evolution of children's reading culture between the two places.
The exhibition will also showcase the book 'Baby Talks about the Solar Terms' and recommendations by the librarians from both libraries, promoting children's books related to the 24 solar terms, Chinese festivals and traditional culture, and jointly promoting Chinese traditional culture and fostering a shared cultural identity and reading culture among young readers in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
